Insurer: Production Company’s Negligence Bars Recovery For Fatal Train Accident

Mealey's (September 2, 2015, 8:42 AM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — An insurer on Aug. 7 responded to a production company insured’s first amended complaint seeking coverage for damages caused by a train accident that killed a camera technician and injured the film's director and several crew members, alleging that the insured’s careless, reckless and negligent actions caused and contributed in some degree to any purported damages (Film Allman LLC v. New York Marine And General Insurance Company Inc., No 14-7069, C.D. Calif.).
