Bankruptcy Judge: Fraud Claim Against Fracking Company’s Principal Valid

(September 1, 2015, 12:35 PM EDT) -- WILMINGTON, Del. — A bankruptcy judge in Delaware on Aug. 31 denied a motion to dismiss filed by a principal in a bankrupt hydraulic fracturing company, determining that there was sufficient evidence to support the trustee’ initial claim of fraud (Alan Halperin v. Michael B. Moreno [In Re: Green Field Energy Services Inc., et al.], No. 13-12783, Adv. No. 15-50262, Chapter 11, Del. Bkcy.; 2015 Bankr. LEXIS 2914).
