California Sues Over Newly Issued ACA Contraceptive Mandate Rules

(October 12, 2017, 10:44 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — Newly issued regulations allowing religious and moral objectors to evade the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate are illegal, the State of California claims in an Oct. 10 complaint (State of California, et al. v. Don J. Wright, et al., No. 17-5783, N.D. Calif.).
