D.C. Circuit Vacates Injunction Of NSA’s Data Collection Program

Mealey's (August 31, 2015, 3:06 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A District of Columbia Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Aug. 28 reversed a trial court’s granting of a preliminary injunction of the U.S. government’s bulk telephony metadata program, finding that the plaintiffs had not established sufficient standing or injury to merit such relief (Larry Elliott Klayman, et al. v. Barack Hussein Obama, et al., No. 14-5004, 14-5005, 14-5016, 14-5017, D.C. Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 15189).
