Appeals Court Restores Class Allegations Against Home Builder Over Faulty Pipes

(August 31, 2015, 7:15 AM EDT) -- SANTA ANA, Calif. — A California appellate panel on Aug. 19 reinstated class allegations in a lawsuit against the builder of a number of homes that allegedly contain faulty copper pipes as a result of local water conditions after ruling that the plaintiff sufficiently pleaded them (Kendall Brasch, et al. v. K. Hovnanian Enterprises Inc., et al., No. G050131, Calif. App., 4th Dist., Div. 3; 2015 Calif. App. Unpub. LEXIS 5984).
