Mealey's (September 18, 2017, 12:28 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — Estee Lauder Cos. Inc.’s decision to provide male employees who are biological fathers with less paid parental leave and related benefits than female employees who are biological mothers constitutes gender discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Equal Pay Act, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleges in a complaint filed Aug. 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (Equal Employee Opportunity Commission v.
