Judge Appoints Lead Plaintiff In Securities Suit Over Proposed Merger Deal

(September 15, 2017, 10:45 AM EDT) -- DENVER — An investor has met all statutory requirements necessary to serve as lead plaintiff in a securities class action lawsuit alleging that a company and certain of its executive officers and directors filed Securities and Exchange Commission registration statements in connection with a proposed merger deal that were inadequate and failed to disclose necessary information to shareholders in violation of federal securities laws, a federal judge in Colorado ruled Aug. 17 in appointing one of the shareholders as lead plaintiff and naming lead counsel (George Assad v.
