6th Circuit Panel: Lead Plaintiff Failed To Plead Actionable Misstatements
(August 27, 2015, 1:47 PM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — A federal judge did not err in dismissing a securities class action lawsuit because the lead plaintiff in the action failed to plead any actionable misrepresentations in making its federal securities law claims, a Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel ruled Aug. 20 (Arun Bondali, et al. v. Yum! Brands Inc., et al., No. 15-5064, 6th Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 14764).
