Judge Will Rule Soon On Injunction Against Water Release To Benefit Salmon

Mealey's (August 26, 2015, 1:42 PM EDT) -- FRESNO, Calif. — A California federal judge on Aug. 25 said he will rule “as soon as possible” on a motion by two water authorities for a temporary restraining order (TRO) and preliminary injunction preventing the federal government from releasing extra water to help salmon in the Klamath River Basin survive the state’s historic drought (San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority, et al. v. Sally Jewell, et al., No. 15-1290, E.D. Calif., Fresno Div.).
