Regulatory Agencies Move To Dismiss Suit Over Cigarette Advertising
(August 29, 2017, 4:16 PM EDT) -- WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Two regulatory agencies on Aug. 18 moved in Florida federal court to dismiss a complaint against them seeking to set aside a memorandum that allows a cigarette company to use the word “natural” in its advertisements because the plaintiff cannot show how the use of the word will harm him (Justin Sproule v. United States Food and Drug Administration, et al., No. 9:17-cv-80709, S.D. Fla.).
