Liquidator Seeks OK To Pay More Than $35 Million To Guaranty Associations

(August 25, 2015, 12:31 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — The liquidator of a California-domiciled insurer asked a California court on Aug. 18 for approval of more than $35 million in distributions to certain insurance guaranty associations (Insurance Commissioner of the State of California v.
