Excessive Force Claim Dismissed; Premises Liability Claim Remains In Oklahoma Case

Mealey's (August 21, 2015, 1:18 PM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — A mother seeking compensation for the shooting death of her son by an off-duty police officer may proceed with allegations of premises liability against the owners of the Farmers Market, a concert venue in Oklahoma City, a federal judge in Oklahoma ruled Aug. 19 (Charlesetta Redd v. Big Dog Holding Company LLC, et al., No. 15-263, W.D. Okla.).
