LOUIS, Ill. — A medical doctor’s familiarity with different fibers qualifies him to testify as an expert in an asbestos case, and Illinois precedent does not bar him even if he plans on testifying that every exposure to asbestos leads to disease, a federal judge in Illinois held Aug. 20 (Charles Neureuther v.
