11th Circuit Panel Affirms Dismissal Of ADEA Suit Against R.J. Reynolds

(July 13, 2017, 9:35 PM EDT) -- ATLANTA — An 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on June 27 affirmed a Georgia federal judge’s dismissal of an Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) lawsuit alleging that R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. engaged in a pattern or practice of discrimination against older job applicants as untimely filed (Richard M. Villarreal, et al. v. R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, et al., No. 15-10602, 11th Cir., 2017 U.S. App. LEXIS 11455).
