Federal Judge Sides With Trademark Plaintiff Following Bench Trial

(August 21, 2015, 9:09 AM EDT) -- ATLANTA — A dispute over the “SCAR” and “SCAR-Stock” trademarks, as they are used in the firearms industry, was resolved Aug. 20 by a Georgia federal judge in favor of a Belgium-based weapons manufacturer (FN Herstal S.A. v. Clyde Armory Inc., No. 12-102, M.D. Ga.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 109993).
