Mealey's (August 14, 2015, 11:48 AM EDT) -- SELMA, Ala. — A federal judge in Alabama on Aug. 12 found that the failure of two experts for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. to strictly comply with all National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards when concluding that a fire was intentionally set did not render their methodologies unreliable and that they could testify on behalf of the company in pursuit of its claim against a company submitting a fraudulent claim for fire loss (Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company v.
