Government Concedes Standing In ACA Origination Clause Appeal

Mealey's (June 12, 2015, 12:00 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — There is no reason to doubt that a man lacks insurance coverage or any exemption freeing him from the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) individual mandate, the government told the District of Columbia Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals June 9, 2014 (Matt Sissel v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, et al., No. 13-5202, D.C. Cir.).
