United States, 9 States Argue Against Injunction, Stay In Clean Water Rule Suit
(August 12, 2015, 11:24 AM EDT) -- BRUNSWICK, Ga. — The United States on July 31 opposed a request by states for a federal court preliminary injunction against the Clean Water Rule, saying that because the issue involves the Clean Water Act, the parties should let the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals hear the case (State of Georgia, et al. v. Gina A. McCarthy, et al., No. 15-79, S.D. Ga.; See 7/16/15, Page 11).
