Mealey's (August 11, 2015, 12:23 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — Summary judgment in an insurance bad faith lawsuit is proper because an insured concealed that his property had received previous water intrusion damage when applying for a homeowners insurance policy, a federal judge in California ruled July 23 (Jason- Issa Karkar v. State Farm General Insurance Co., No. 14-1044, N.D. Calif.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 97105).
