Casino Development Company Challenges Exclusiveness Of Connecticut Gaming Law
(August 11, 2015, 12:19 PM EDT) -- NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A national casino development company filed suit on Aug. 4 in Connecticut federal court to challenge a state law it says unconstitutionally grants to two Native American tribes the exclusive right to open casinos off Indian land (MGM Resorts International Global Gaming Development v. Dannel P. Malloy, in his official capacity as Governor of Connecticut, et al., No. 15-1182, D. Conn.).
