California Federal Judge Approves Modified Settlement In ‘Crowdsourcing’ Wage Suit

(August 10, 2015, 1:40 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A California federal judge on July 2 approved a modified settlement under which an Internet company will pay a total of $585,507 to end a wage-and-hour complaint brought by workers who were paid on a per-task basis (Christopher Otey, et al. v. CrowdFlower, Inc., et al., No. 12-5524, N.D. Calif.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 86712).
