Crane Co. Escapes Asbestos Case After Judge Finds Lawyer Led Witness To Testimony

(August 10, 2015, 9:56 AM EDT) -- BALTIMORE — Without testimony elicited through leading questions and unable to show deposition answers regarding “Ike” asbestos products were references to Cranite, plaintiffs lack evidence of exposure to a Crane Co. product, a federal judge held July 12 (Charles Dean Haney, et al. v. 3M Co., et al., No. 12-1396, D. Md.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 94281).
