Tennessee Appeals Panel Affirms Summary Judgment In Deck Collapse Suit

(February 2, 2017, 1:13 PM EST) -- NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A Tennessee Court of Appeals panel on Jan. 31 affirmed a state court decision to grant summary judgment to homeowners who were sued for injuries when their deck collapsed because the plaintiffs did not present any evidence to show that the collapse was foreseeable and, therefore, the plaintiffs did not have a duty to warn about the possible danger (Parris Keane, et al. v.
