Amicus Groups Weigh In On Benefits, Burden Of ACA Birth-Control Mandate

Mealey's (June 12, 2015, 8:48 AM EDT) -- ST. LOUIS — Amicus curiae parties recently told the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act’s intent, accepted medical practice and women’s rights all weigh in favor of affirming the contraceptive mandate (Sharpe Holdings Inc., et al. v. Kathleen Sebelius, et al., No. 13-1507, 8th Cir.).
