Oregon Settlement Provides More Water For Frog, Buys Litigation Hiatus

Mealey's (November 9, 2016, 12:30 PM EST) -- EUGENE, Ore. — A lawsuit by two environmental groups concerned about the effect of federally controlled dam releases on the Oregon spotted frog would be settled with promises by dam operators to release more water and by the environmentalists to file no more lawsuits, according to a stipulated settlement agreement filed Oct. 28 in an Oregon federal court by the parties (Center for Biological Diversity, et al. v.
