Municipality Wants Injection Well Case Reopened; New Information Discovered

(November 4, 2016, 1:58 PM EDT) -- PITTSBURGH — A municipality on Oct. 24 moved in Pennsylvania federal court to reopen a case in which a hydraulic fracturing trade group won the right to file an intervenor complaint challenging the constitutionality of a local ordinance prohibiting underground injection control wells for the purpose of supplementing the record with newly discovered evidence (Pennsylvania General Energy Company LLC v. Grant Township, No. 14-209, W.D. Pa.).
