Parties To ACA Contraceptive Mandate Challenge Brief Judge On Injunction

Mealey's (June 12, 2015, 8:32 AM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Archdiocese and the government sparred before a Pennsylvania federal judge in mid-June 2014 briefing over whether he should grant a preliminary injunction in a case challenging the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA)’s contraceptive mandate (Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, et al. v. Kathleen Sebelius, in her official capacity as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, et al., No. 14-3096, E.D. Pa.).
