10th Circuit Affirms Denial Of Injunction Against Drilling Permits
(November 1, 2016, 2:28 PM EDT) -- DENVER — A panel of the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Oct. 27 ruled that a collection of environmental advocacy groups failed to show that a district court abused its discretion in denying them an injunction that would have prevented hydraulic fracturing companies from obtaining permits to drill in the San Juan Basin (Diné Citizens Against Ruining Our Environment, et al. v. Sally Jewell, et al., No. 15-2130, 10th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 19401).
