Wisconsin Top Court To Review Successor Liability Exemption In Asbestos Case
Mealey's (November 1, 2016, 11:22 AM EDT) -- WAUSAU, Wis. — The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Oct. 11 said it will consider whether the fraudulent transfer exception to the state’s general rule against successor liability puts a company on the hook for a predecessor’s asbestos-containing products, according to the court’s docket (Penny L. Springer v. Nohl Electric Products Corp., et al., No. 2015AP829, Wis. Sup.; 2016 Wisc. LEXIS 336).
