Court Affirms Order Compelling Credit Card Late Fee Claims To Arbitration

Mealey's (November 1, 2016, 7:58 AM EDT) -- SAN DIEGO — A California appeals court on Oct. 20 affirmed a trial court's decision to compel claims for violation of California's unfair competition law (UCL) and other causes of action asserted against a retailer and a bank to arbitration, finding that all of the claims related to a credit card agreement that contained a valid arbitration clause (James Miceli v.
