Mississippi, Tennessee Get Hearing Order For Interstate Water Dispute

(October 31, 2016, 12:34 PM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — A federal appeals judge serving as a U.S. Supreme Court special master in Mississippi’s water complaint against Tennessee on Oct. 26 issued a case management plan that requires by Aug. 31 a joint proposal for an evidentiary hearing on whether a shared aquifer is an interstate resource (State of Mississippi v. State of Tennessee, et al., No. 143, Original, U.S. Sup.).
