Missouri State Jury Awards More Than $70 Million In Talcum Powder Suit

LOUIS — A Missouri jury on Oct. 27 awarded a woman who developed ovarian cancer after prolonged use of talcum powder made by Johnson & Johnson more than $70 million in compensatory and punitive damages (Deborah Giannecchini v. Johnson & Johnson, et al., No. 1422-CC09012-01, Mo. 22nd Jud. Cir.).
