Judge Says Inmate’s Drinking Water Complaint States A Valid Claim
Mealey's (October 31, 2016, 12:10 PM EDT) -- CHICAGO — A federal judge in Illinois on Oct. 26 ruled that a prison inmate had sufficiently alleged that the drinking water in the facility where he is incarcerated contains toxins and may be the cause of his health problems (Jerrold Davis v. Tarry Williams, et al., No. 15-8130, N.D. Ill.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 148065).
