Judge Finds TILA Claims Against Bank Are Barred By Limitations Period

Mealey's (October 27, 2016, 11:42 AM EDT) -- PHOENIX — An Arizona federal judge on Oct. 20 found that all of the claims for rescission under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) were barred by a one-year statute of limitation and that the borrowers were prohibited by a loan modification from asserting claims, granting a motion filed by a bank to dismiss the case against them (Allen C.
