Plaintiff Gets $449,639 In Fees, Costs In Mentor ObTape Pelvic Mesh Case

(October 26, 2016, 12:33 PM EDT) -- COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Georgia federal judge overseeing the Mentor Corp. pelvic mesh multidistrict litigation on Oct. 25 awarded a plaintiff $449,639 in attorney fees and expenses following a $2.4 million judgment in an ObTape pelvic mesh trial (In Re:  Mentor Corp. ObTape Transobturator Sling Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2004, No. 08-md-2004, Teresa Taylor v. Mentor Corp., No. 12-176, D. Md.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 147119).
