Casino Realleges Fraud, Negligence Claims Against Security Firm Over Data Breach

Mealey's (October 25, 2016, 1:46 PM EDT) -- LAS VEGAS — One month after seeing some of its claims against a data security firm dismissed, a casino owner filed an amended complaint in Nevada federal court Oct. 21, alleging negligence, fraud and breach of contract for what it calls a “woefully inadequate” investigation of a 2013 data breach (Affinity Gaming v. Trustwave Holdings Inc., No. 2:15-cv-02464, D. Nev.).
