British Columbia’s New Franchises Act Promises Franchisees Protections

Mealey's (October 20, 2016, 7:37 PM EDT) -- VICTORIA, British Columbia — British Columbia’s new Franchises Act, which will come into effect on Feb. 1, will require franchisors to provide franchisees in the province with a franchise disclosure document (FDD) disclosing all facts relating to the franchised business being offered so they can make an informed decision about the investment.
