Insurer Says Court Holds Jurisdiction Over Individuals Named In Reinsurance Case

Mealey's (October 19, 2016, 7:56 AM EDT) -- ATLANTA — An insurer argues in an Oct. 3 filing in a federal court in Georgia that the court holds jurisdiction over two of the people it sued for accepting money from a reinsurer to allegedly avoid reinsurance obligations (Canal Insurance Company, et al. v. Golden Isles Reinsurance Company, Ltd, et al., No. 15-cv-3331, N.D. Ga.).
