Federal Report Finds Vermont Misallocated Millions In ACA Funds

(October 18, 2016, 1:45 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Vermont did not properly administer up to $24.4 million in federal funds targeted for Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) exchanges, according to a September report from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General (OIG).

Vermont’s exchange makes its own determinations regarding eligibility for the exchange and enrollment.
