Summary Judgment Ruling Ends Tribe’s Attempt To Halt Solar Energy Facility

Mealey's (July 21, 2015, 10:29 AM EDT) -- RIVERSIDE, Colo. — A federal judge in Colorado on July 16 granted summary judgment on all claims in favor of the federal government and a solar energy developer in a Native American tribe’s suit seeking to stop the building of a photovoltaic solar energy generation facility in the Mojave Desert (Colorado River Indian Tribes, et al. v. Department of Interior, et al., No. 14-2504, C.D. Calif.).
