Meat Distributor To Pay $43,000 Over Excessive Stormwater Discharges

(October 14, 2016, 12:01 PM EDT) -- LENEXA, Kan. — A regional office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced Oct. 13 that an Iowa-based meat and poultry distributor has agreed to pay $43,000 for excessive discharges of stormwater into Hecker Creek.
