62 Amici Curiae Ask U.S. Supreme Court To Take Up Clean Water Rule Lawsuits

Mealey's (October 14, 2016, 10:04 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sixty-two states, businesses and business associations on Oct. 5 and 7 filed three amicus curiae briefs asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review whether federal circuit courts or federal district courts have jurisdiction over challenges to the Clean Water Rule (National Association of Manufacturers v. Department of Defense, et al., No. 16-299, U.S. Sup.).

The amicus briefs were filed in support of a Sept. 2 petition for a writ of certiorari filed by the National Association of Manufacturers.
