Biocompatables To Pay $36M To Settle Justice Investigation Into LC Bead Device

Mealey's (October 12, 2016, 9:30 AM EDT) -- LONDON — BTG PLC on Oct. 6 announced that its Biocompatables Inc. subsidiary has agreed to pay $36 million to settle a U.S. Justice Department investigation into the marketing of its LC Bead anti-tumor device.

In a press release, BTG said the $36 million settles all allegations.  It said the settlement does not require it to enter into a corporate integrity agreement.
