California Proposition Could Impact WaterFix Project

Mealey's (October 11, 2016, 10:13 AM EDT) -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Californians will vote Nov. 8 on a referendum that would require statewide voter approval before any revenue bonds can be issued by the state for projects over $2 billion, a measure that could affect the California WaterFix project.

The measure is known as Proposition 53.
