Fracking Trade Groups Seeks Abeyance Of Case Dealing With EPA Regulations

Mealey's (October 10, 2016, 9:53 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — An oil and gas industry trade group on Oct. 5 moved in District of Columbia federal court asking that it hold in abeyance a case involving the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Tribal Minor New Source Review Rule (Tribal Minor NSR Rule) in which the court is reviewing a federal implementation plan for oil and gas production, including hydraulic fracturing, on Indian lands (American Petroleum Institute v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, No. 16-1271, D.C. Cir.).
