Pipeline To Carry Fracked Gas Is A ‘Necessity,’ Panel Rules; Appeal ‘Lacks Merit’

Mealey's (October 4, 2016, 9:45 AM EDT) -- CADIZ, Ohio — An Ohio appeals panel on Sept. 29 ruled that a landowner’s appeal of a trial court decision granting Sunoco Pipeline LP permission to construct a pipeline on her property that carries hydraulically fractured propane and butane “lacks merit” and said there was “sufficient evidence to show necessity” for the pipeline (Sunoco Pipeline LP v. Carol A. Teter, No. 16HA0002, 16HA0005, Ohio App., 7th Dist., Harrison Co.; 2016 Ohio App. LEXIS 3929).
