PCA Commission Will Hear Maritime Boundary Dispute Commenced By Timor-Leste

Mealey's (September 28, 2016, 10:09 AM EDT) -- THE HAGUE, Netherlands — The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) on Sept. 26 said a commission appointed in a maritime boundary conciliation between the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste and the Commonwealth of Australia has issued a decision that it has the authority to continue with hearing the case (Arbitration under the Timor Sea Treaty [Timor-Leste v. Australia], No. 2013-16, PCA).
