Wolters Kluwer Dismissed From Zoloft Birth Defect Appeal In 3rd Circuit

(September 19, 2016, 12:00 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — Parties in a Zoloft birth defect appeal pending in the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Sept. 16 stipulated to the dismissal of drug information provider Wolters Kluwer Health Inc. (In Re: Zoloft [Sertraline Hydrochloride] Products Liability Litigation, No. 16-2247, 3rd Cir.).

The parties did not specify why Wolters Kluwer was dismissed. Zoloft maker Pfizer Inc. remains a defendant.
