Class Suit Against Adidas Over Springblade Sneakers Denied Certification
(September 15, 2016, 10:22 AM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A New York federal judge on Sept. 2 denied a motion to certify a class of consumers accusing Adidas America Inc. of selling defectively designed and manufactured Springblade sneakers, finding that the proposed class and subclass are not reasonably ascertainable or manageable, that predominance was not satisfied and that there was no proof of harm (Edward A. Ruffo, et al. v. Adidas America Inc., No. 15-5989, S.D. N.Y.).
