Fracking Company: Court Order Must Be Modified; Wells Should Be Developed
Mealey's (July 13, 2015, 9:50 AM EDT) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — A hydraulic fracturing company engaged in a mineral rights dispute with a landowner on June 25 filed a brief in Ohio federal court, arguing that a court order should be modified to allow the company to continue developing wells because otherwise “development of oil and gas resources owned by neighboring property owners will be delayed to their detriment” (William D. Morris v. Gulfport Energy Corporation, No. 15-1342, S.D. Ohio).
